Heat Pump Compatibility

Underfloor heat is ideally matched to low temperature heating systems such as Heatpumps. This match makes the Heatpump run at its most efficient temperature of approximately 35 - 38 degrees. When using Underfloor Heating with a Heatpump it is advisable to be more thorough with the planning of the system. Putting Underfloor Heating and a Heatpump into a building with 45mm timber floor build-up (20mm Ply and 25mm Timber) should be avoided. Green-house always recommends gluing timber floors to concrete screeds to improve conduction.
